Program

 

MASTER CLASSES:
Musicians will participate in a three-week program of intense musical study with an outstanding international faculty. Professional training in the preparation of repertoire for the numerous rich performance experiences offered is emphasized.
STUDENT CONCERTS:
Four public evening concerts per week and some afternoon concerts are held during the three-week program . Performers are chosen on the strength of their submitted recording. A unique opportunity is provided for students who are ready for professional performing experiences and would like to perform their repertoire in beautiful halls for excellent audiences.
FACILITIES:
The program takes place in restored 17th and 18th century buildings, including a classical Italian style opera house, concert halls, practice and teaching studios and modernized living quarters. Participants live at Santa Chiara, a large 17th century former convent with modernized rooms for students (1-2 per room). Students receive 3 Italian meals daily, except on free days (Saturdays and Sundays).
