Concert pianist Julia Okruashvili started her career with winning the International Maria Yudina St. Petersburg Piano Competitin. Soon after, she caught the attention of the music world in the International Firkusny Competition in Prag, „Citta di Pinerolo“, Rosario Marciano International Competition in Vienna, and Maria Canals International Competition . As an active performer in Europe, USA, Russia, Julia Okruashvili performed as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra Moscow Virtuosi , Russian Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Spohr Chamber Orchestra, Frankfurt Museum Orchestra, Philharmonie der Nationen and Hessischen Staatsorchester Wiesbaden. Her performances were broadcasted, among others, in the Culture- Radio-Moscow and Sankt Petersburg, SWR and BR.
Since 2007, Julia Okruashvili has been a frequent guest performer in the ” Weilburger Schlosskonzerten”,
Rheingau Music Festival, Mosel Music festival, Music Festival “Heidelberger Frühling”, Schwetzingen Music Festival and others.
Julia Okruashvili is an assistent Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt and at the University of Music in Mainz.
