Erna Vala Arnardóttir has finished her first year at Iceland Academy of the Arts in the diploma programme on piano, studying with Peter Máté and Nína Margrét Grímsdóttir. She started playing the piano at age seven and has participated in various piano competitions, including EPTA 2009 and EPTA 2012 in Iceland where she was a prize winner. She has also played in master classes with many professors.
