Elizabeth McKee began her piano studies at the age of six with her grandmother. Her grandmother nurtured her love of music, and very soon encouraged her to study with a professional music teacher. Since then she has studied with excellent teachers in the Fraser Valley, such as Catherine Bundt and Sandra-Joy Friesen.
Since that time, she has been performing in recitals and competitions such as the Kiwanis Festival, the British Columbia Registered Music Teachers’ Association Festival, as well as the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival. Elizabeth has also completed examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music and has completed her ARCT in Piano Performance.
After graduating from high school, Elizabeth continued her education in piano performance. She attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University to study with Jane Hayes and complete a Diploma of Music. She then attended the University of Victoria to study with Arthur Rowe and complete her Bachelor of Music degree.
Currently, Elizabeth is a teacher at Nuvo Music School in Surrey, British Columbia. She has a passion for teaching students of all ages.
