Radosława   Jasik            Życiorys

I am nineteen years old. I was born in Katowice. I started studying piano when I was seven years old.   In 2011, I graduated from The Karol Szymanowski State Secondary Music School in Katowice, Anna Górecka class.

Now  I am studying at the Academy  of Music in Bydgoszcz, Prof. Ewa Pobłocka class.

My achievements:

  1. The Morice Moszkowski International Piano Competition Kielce, 2007.- Distinction
  2. The Fryderyk Chopin National Piano Competition , Rzeszów, 2007- 1st prize
  3. The Juliusz Zarębski International Music Competition Łomianki/Warsaw, 2008 – 3rd prize
  4. The J.S.Bach International Piano Competition, Gorzów Wielkopolski, 2008- 1st  prize
  5. German-Polish International Piano Competition Zgorzelec/Goerlitz, 2010 –1st prize in 5th group and also 2 special prizes: 1) for the best  performance of contemporary piece 2) for the highest scoring in 5th and 6th groups.
  6. Citta di Barletta 20th International Music Competition , Italy 2010- 1st prize in ‘piano  solo’ category and also 1st prize in ‘duo’ category.
  7. International Festival InterArtia , Greece 2010- 1st prize and “Artist of the year 2010” title in duo category.
  8. 9th International Independent Music Competition “Individualis” – 1st prize in duo category.

In 2007, during piano workshop in Olsztyn, I received The Prof.Janina Butor scholarship.

I performed in public Mozart Piano Concerto A major KV 488 with Philharmonic Orchestra in Philharmonic  in Rzeszów.

I have studied also chamber music. I have played in duo with guitarist and with violinist.

Together with 3 pianists from my school we performed transcription of Piano Quintet G minor by Juliusz Zarębski, for two pianos, eight hands. We received distinction in 2009.

I received prize from President of Katowice City three  times (in 2005, 2007 and 2009).

I got scholarship from Prime Minister in 2010/ 2011.

I was accepted to participate in music workshop “Morningside Music Bridge” in Calgary, Canada twice (2010, 2011).

In 2012 I performed a recital in Chopin Centre in Szafarnia.

I have worked with many outstanding pedagogues, such as:

Lee Kum Sing, Mikhail Voskresensky, Aleksey Orlovetsky, John Perry, David Moroz, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Leslie Howard, Andre La Plante, Oksana Rapita, Anton Kuerti.
