The Mainzer Virtuosi performed with soloists Agnes Langer (violin) and Pavel Kolesnikov (piano) at London’s Cadogan Hall on October 16th 2013 to great acclaim. A benefit concert for Christ’s Hospital and a tribute to the late Sir Colin Davis, it was conducted by Ben Gernon, Sir Colin’s protégé.

The concert included the world premiere of Tim Benjamin’s Overture: ‘Yes, I remember’; Beethoven’s Violin Concerto; Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and the Double Concerto for Violin and Piano by Mendelssohn.
